These countries are still recovering from war and devastation. I was welcomed, as all travelers are, even though I’m an American and it was my country that caused much damage to the parts of their countries that I visited.
The backpackers have found these countries as good places to travel and the people eagerly provide lodging, restaurants, tours and other amenities. Their villages are quickly changing because of this.
